The hotel also houses riverside eatery Sea Containers Restaurant, rooftop bar and lounge 12th Knot and an award-winning experimental cocktail bar from Ryan Chetiyawardana (Mr Lyan) and team, Lyaness.Therapeutic spa playground agua London also sits within the hotel offering personalised treatments with a holistic, forward-thinking approach. The spa has also introduced HEDGEROW by agua - a collection of house-made herbal salves, butters and blended oils to be used in the agua signature treatment menu; drawing inspiration from British hedgerows and the indigenous flora that can be found within them.

Sea Containers London has launched brand new ‘Commuter Club’, the hotel’s first ever subscription service for those travelling regularly to London.The hotel subscription offers guests all the benefits of a London pied-à-terre, without any of the hassle. Targeting remote workers, freelancers, and digital nomads, members of ‘Commuter Club’ will benefit from a number of hotel stays, gym access and a Cabin Trunk to safely store clothing, work files, or any other personal belongings till your next visit.


The hotel subscription comprises of three tiers and price packages to meet member needs. Each tier not only includes overnight accommodation, but also offers other perks such as food and beverage discounts throughout the hotel’s restaurant and bars, 12thKnot and legendary Ryan Chetiyawardana’s Lyaness, personalised in-room amenity selection, use of spa facilities at agua spa, cabin trunks for storing personal belongings, gym access and secure bike storage.

Commuter Club members can take advantage of high-speed Wi-Fi, access to the hotel’s public areas to meet and relax, private meeting and dining rooms when needed (for an additional fee). For those with four-legged friends, membership means that pets stay free of charge – with a cosy bed, bowls and treats provided so they feel equally comfortable at their home away from home. 


Making full use of Lore Group’s impressive hotel portfolio, subscribers to Sea Containers London’s Commuter Club will be able to use a portion of their subscription stays at any other Lore Group hotel, including Pulitzer Amsterdam, One Hundred Shoreditch and Riggs & Lyle DC.

Sea Containers London’s General Manager, PJ Kenny, comments: “We have seen an increase in our regular guests, who stay multiple nights throughout the month, and with the rise of the digital nomad well underway we wanted to create a monthly membership program which would offer a flexible and accommodating package for those who aren’t based in London but have to regularly travel to the city for work or other commitments.”


This subscription service will offer itinerant workers and leisure travellers a base for them to call home. Commuter Club members will have the option to name up to three family and friends who will also be able to use the room nights within their subscription.
