Discover Hotel Hana

Located in the heart of the capital, between the majestic Opéra Garnier and Place de la Bourse, Hana is the newest 5-star hotel gem that has blossomed in the ADRESSES HOTELS collection.

Nicolas Saltiel, a proponent of discreet luxury hospitality, envisioned it against the current.

Between the sophistication of a (Belle) Époque and the pure Japanese minimalism. A tribute paid to the movement of rupture and modernity of the 1920s, which later encouraged the Japanese diaspora to settle in the neighbourhood, now known as Little Tokyo. While the adjacent streets buzz with cheerful activity, Hana is a refuge of calm and aesthetic appeal where travellers and busy urbanites come to settle.

The Japanese culture merges with the Parisian art of living, creating a harmonious ballet of traditions where every detail is meticulously cared for, every gesture is a ritual, and every object is a symbol. Celebrate the Japanese art of living with the lively ardour of the iris in a bouquet.

Read Hemingway facing the Parisian rooftops chosen from the 26 keys with a view. In the spa-pool area, take the time for an aquatic and sensory break and recharge your batteries with an energetic and holistic treatment, designed around Japanese rituals.

Indulge in the culinary delights of the Hanabi restaurant bar, a display of reworks in the Land of the Rising Sun. Come and go, feel at home, and become intoxicated by Paris. From these moments captured in the moment, Hana has eternal poetry. The time to live is also the time to love here, we reveal the secret: slow down time and take it for yourself.

Soft and cosy, Hôtel Hana is a rendezvous between two worlds. Between opposing and complementary aesthetic currents. Between creative souls. That of Laura Gonzalez, the talented architect and interior designer, and Olivier Leone, a recognized artistic director in the world of fashion, who embarks on his very first hotel adventure.

This encounter gives birth to an establishment from which emanates a feminine side, something graceful, voluble, and precious. For this delicate flower, Laura has envisioned a dialogue between the Belle Époque maximalism of the early 20th century and Japanese minimalism.

Far from the eclectic and whimsical style that defines her signature, she delivers a more neutral aesthetic, a handcrafted creation, and an exercise in style. Playing on the dichotomy between romanticism and sobriety, she invites soft tones to blend with textiles and materials borrowed from Art Nouveau. Specially designed furniture for the hotel punctuates the space, in a symmetrical and streamlined architecture. A deliberate choice from every angle, with common spaces reduced to the essentials.

Instead of a traditional reception, Hôtel Hana offers an intimate experience where each guest is personally welcomed before being led to their suite or room.

Everywhere, one can feel the touch of the artisans who contributed to bringing this gem to life. Guided by the artistic vision of Sonja de Monchy, the restaurant counter has been sublimated, allowing diners to contemplate all the activities in the kitchen.

Les Ateliers Roma has elevated the restaurant bar with their pictorial work. And Signature Murale continues the enchantment with its textured painting works that adorn the space all around the pool. At every moment, you breathe in a burst of art and a journey to the Land of the Rising Sun.

On each floor, there is no room that is not an invitation to gaze upon this postcard-perfect Paris. While all open up to the view of the urban world, its tumult is quickly left behind. With a turn of the key, everything calms down. Calmness is a privilege that all 26 rooms -including a suite- offer imbued with a Feng Shui aura crafted by the expert Hélène Weber. The interiors pay homage to Japan and the Belle Époque with a procession of iroko wood, straw coverings, and bicolored marble in the bathrooms.

The carpets are signed by Marguerite Lemaire, and the carpets are adorned with an original design by Laura Gonzalez reproduced by Pierre Frey. This joyful ensemble of elements creates the impression of being in a cocoon: one forgets the hotel. The taste of beautiful things speaks to us, the perfection of detail dominates. The removal of the superfluous enriches the atmosphere, authentic but never folkloric. It’s a delicate balance. Traditional and wildly modern. An invitation to no longer move and surrender to dreaming.

The Union Of French Bistronomy And The Enchanting Influences Of Japan: Hanabi

Hanabi is a fireworks display in its etymology as much as in its realization, signed by Shirley Garrier of The Social Food. Invited to revisit the essentials of the French culinary repertoire with Japanese finesse and precision, she turns each composition into a blend of modern art and classic cuisine. The two countries share a very strong gastronomic connection, without one overpowering the other.

At will, discerning palates can enjoy a continental or Hanabi-inspired breakfast, a Japanese-style lunch, a tea time, a sake cocktail, or an enchanting dinner. On the menu, the mastery of pairings is matched only by the finesse of the products that compose them.

Divine alliances include Ochazuke, a delightful rice soup dipped in a dashi and tea broth, a pot-au-feu cooked in a mushi nabe as one might find in a sumo stable, a chirashi of fish and crustaceans from our French coasts, or even a crème brûlée with purple sweet potato from Okinawa.

If the restaurant invites Japan to the plate, the journey continues in the glasses. At the bar, the degree of audacity is reflected in the choice to showcase predominantly bottles from France and Japan. A rich selection of sakes and French wines serves as the sweet prelude to each tasting. It’s time to toast to the bold reinterpretation of classic mixology cocktails, crafted from French and Japanese ingredients. A touch of exoticism transforms the traditional Dry Martini, prepared with Japanese gin and sansho pepper-infused vermouth, replacing the olive with an umeboshi plum.

The Lemon Drop is an original creation subtly blending French vodka, sake, and yuzu.

Here, one experiences a ceremonial act that reminds us that taste is not quite the same when the ritual is mastered. Once again, time slows down, much to the delight of the traveller.
