A feasting Christmas at Mowgli Bristol and Cheltenham

If you’re looking for festive dining inspiration with family or friends but fancy a change from the traditional turkey and all the trimmings fare, then perhaps Mowgli Street Food’s Christmas Festive Menu will do the trick.

At £35 per person and running until 5th January, the menu includes a glass of fizz or beer, followed by a full home cooked Indian sharing menu, finished with a comforting chocolate brownie and ice cream or mango sorbet served in waffle cones.

Leaving hungry after the Christmas Feasting menu won’t be an issue at Mowgli. Expect signature Mowgi Chat Bombs, Street Chat & Meats with Fenugreek Kissed Fries, punchy Gunpowder Chicken and Himalayan Cheese on Toast.

The showcase mains include a selection of towering tiffins of meat and vegetable curries with rice to share. Vegan and gluten free options are also accommodated with delicious alternatives. All dishes are cooked from scratch every morning, inspired by the food that Indians eat at home, with recipes and spice blends handed down through generations.

Mowgli Street Food was founded by Nisha Katona. She gave up a successful 20-year career as a child protection barrister to fulfil a nagging obsession with serving food inspired by the Indian home kitchens of her ancestors.

Nisha's background meant she created the business with charitable giving at its heart and The Mowgli Trust has so far raised over £2 million for local community charities and international causes which support children and families all over the world, creating lasting change and enriching lives.

With 24 restaurants nationwide, including Bristol & Cheltenham and all are festooned with festive twinkly lights, creating the perfect Christmas celebratory atmosphere.
