The OWO welcomes Café Ciel to its courtyard venue on Whitehall

The OWO is delighted to announce the arrival of Café Ciel, the all-day dining destination, bringing a sophisticated residency to its coveted courtyard location on Whitehall.
Café Ciel’s residency marks The OWO’s third independent restaurant, joining the contemporary Milanese Paper Moon and Chef Endo Kazutoshi's rooftop Kioku by Endo. The OWO is also home to Raffles London at The OWO hotel, encompassing five restaurants and two bars.

Located in the privacy of The OWO’s serene courtyard, Café Ciel is a refined residency offering seasonal bakes and brunch by day, followed by curated cocktails and tapas by night.
Daytime menu highlights include popular brunch favourites as well as a seasonal selection of tartines from summer tomato, to creamy cottage cheese and honey garnished with caramelised walnuts.

As the light softens and the mood shifts, signature cocktails served include a housemade Ciel Spritz and Ciel Paloma, as well as draught beer available on tap.
Seasonal evening menus will change regularly with a selection of popular tapas-inspired small plates alongside larger plates. This summer's highlights include mushroom croquettes, aubergine chips and Chantarelle mushrooms on toast.

A selection of exquisite larger plate pasta dishes include lemon ricotta ravioli; summer tomato linguine; and creamy green risotto. Seasonal desserts celebrate best-of-British with highlights including homemade ice cream, Eton mess, and fruit crumble.

At the helm of Café Ciel are Co-Founders Vedika Hinduja and Shaheen Peerbhai. After training at Le Cordon Bleu and Ecole Ducasse in Paris, Head Chef Shaheen has honed her craft in Mumbai, Paris, and London, including kitchens ranging from terroir-driven bistros to Michelin-starred 8establishments.

Shaheen is the founder of Miel Bakery (@mielbakery) in Fitzrovia, an acclaimed boulangerie and workshop space known for its buttery viennoiseries, seasonal pastries, and community-focused baking classes.

Café Ciel exhibits this exacting technique, seasonal flair, and natural elegance to brunch favourites, small plates and specialised drinks. .
