‘ A NEW IZAKAYA AND APERITIF PAIRING EXPERIENCE WITH POMELLE FOR THE SUMMER

There are few better excuses to linger in Belgravia than the arrival of spring in full bloom, and UNI Restaurant is fully embracing the season. Tucked just off Ebury Street, the modern Japanese restaurant is stepping into the spotlight with the launch of Spritz & Sushi, a playful, sun drenched collaboration with Pomelle Apéritif, created to celebrate the spirit of the summer.


As Belgravia leans into long sun soaked evenings, UNI has created a limited edition Spritz & Sushi menu, bringing together UNI’s iconic dishes thoughtfully paired with Pomelle’s signature cocktails. Designed for sharing, the experience moves effortlessly between glass and plate, where UNI’s Izakaya cuisine meets a bright, bittersweet apéritif pairing in a way that feels relaxed, sociable and quietly indulgent rather than
overly complicated.

The signature Pomelle Spritz, with handpicked elderflower and pomelo perfectly complements the yellowtail sashimi in a tangy citrus dressing, along with spicy tuna rolls and a trio of salmon tacos which are built for spice and sunshine. Or for something crisp and precise, the Pomelle Martini cuts through the rock shrimp tempura, charred baby corn and nasu yakiniku, a delightful dish with moorish aubergine and miso, with a clean finish that resets the palate between bites.


A supporting cast of cocktails, from Margaritas to Martinis keeps the menu fresh, balanced and complements the dishes perfectly. Together it creates a setting made for unhurried evenings, especially with sushi on the table and the last of the sun settling over Belgravia.


Guests can sit inside or else get a lucky table outside where UNI’s terrace becomes the place to be, framed by a floral arch that spills across the façade in soft pastel tones and Japanese inspired botanicals. The floral installation creates a whimsical, transportive backdrop to the terrace, setting the scene for sunset in one of the neighbourhood’s most coveted spots.

Effortlessly blending atmosphere, design and glamour, UNI offers a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle and offers those in the know a discreet retreat in Belgravia, just a two minute walk from Victoria station. Spritz & Sushi is a seasonal expression that feels fresh, vibrant and carefree, marking UNI as the place to be this summer.


The Spritz & Sushi menu will be available from 20th May until 29th August 2026.
