The countdown is officially on. The Agria Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials will return to the spectacular grounds of the UNESCO World Heritage Blenheim Palace (17–20 September), bringing together thousands of visitors for the very best of international eventing, family entertainment and country lifestyle in one unforgettable celebration.

But, while world-class sport remains at the heart of the weekend’s festivities, for many visitors the event has become just as synonymous with shopping bags as scoreboards. This September, Blenheim Palace will once again transform into one of the UK's most sought-after country shopping destinations, with more than 200 premium exhibitors set to descend on the historic estate. From luxury country fashion and artisan food to homeware, jewellery and equestrian essentials, the Agria Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials offers an unrivalled retail experience in the heart of Oxfordshire.

Friday's Fashion Forecast, hosted by Femme Country Magazine, will celebrate the very best of rural style, while the Curated in the Cotswolds shopping village will offer an unrivalled collection of premium brands, artisan makers and equestrian favourites. Visitors will also be able to shop the brand-new official Agria Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials merchandise collection, created in partnership with Rydale.

For many, Blenheim is more than a Horse Trials. It is a rite of passage in the equestrian calendar; a place where sporting history is made and lifelong memories are created against one of the country's most spectacular backdrops. This year's event promises plenty of headline moments.

At its heart is the prestigious CCI4*-L class, where some of the world's leading horse and rider combinations will battle it out across the three disciplines of dressage, cross country and showjumping. Spectators will also have the chance to witness the future stars of the sport in the hugely popular GFS Saddles 8 & 9 Year Old Class, which has previously launched the careers of horses including London 52, Ballaghmor Class and Lordships Graffalo.

Canadian FEI Level 3 Cross Country Course Designer Jay Hambly will make also his debut as Cross Country Course Designer at the Agria Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials in 2026. Having competed at the highest level himself, Hambly brings a unique perspective and impressive resumé, including work at the Beijing and Tokyo Olympic Games.

The Horse Trials continues to champion every level of the sport, with the return of the crowd favourite evoke™ Eventer Challenge. The competition sees Pony Club and Riding Club teams from around the country tackle a thrilling hybrid of cross country and showjumping, creating an electric atmosphere across the event.

Visitors can also enjoy a unique behind-the-scenes look at the making of future champions, as members of the British Eventing European 3* Cup Squad take to the stage throughout the weekend to share their training insights, preparation techniques and competition experiences. Plus, new for 2026, visitors will be able to embrace the elegance of the Attelage de Tradition carriage competition, bringing a touch of timeless heritage to Blenheim’s South Lawn.

For families there's no shortage of entertainment. With children's activities, delicious food and drink, free parking and under-12s admitted free of charge, the event continues to offer one of the best-value days out of the autumn season.
